“Work to achieve what you implicitly believe.”

I realised early in life that the journey to find out more about ourselves, our beliefs, and principles. Values and others are not easy ones. It takes time and effort, and we have no clue when or what results we will achieve. As my internal journey continued, there were small but profound and fundamental changes within me, and my outlook changed.

I realized that at the core, my beliefs and those shape our actions. They are subtle and silent affirmations, and not loud declarations. Some beliefs and actions were aligned, and they were delivering results, and sometimes it was transformative, too. But some beliefs were dormant and not aligned. I saw the need to work on and get aligned.

In the process, I also realised that some goals were borrowed because I was influenced by someone or something. This needed to go as being authentic with myself was a bigger priority and requirement for me to progress. I slowly managed to remove these borrowed goals or worked towards aligning them to my beliefs.

The results of this were astounding. I could see that I was more peaceful with myself and experienced a higher level of acceptance of myself and my environment. Over time, I started to feel like an observer or an onlooker to myself and was amused by the drama that played out within me.

The insights that actually drove the alignments lightened my mind and focused my energies on what mattered to me and what was important. This helped me deliver better results in my life.

One key lesson: Work towards alignment your beliefs with your work. It makes it lighter and more purposeful. Our success and growth depend on our actions that are aligned with our inner convictions.
