“Grow, To Help Others Grow”

The greatest joy that I have discovered for myself is the “Joy of Giving”. The quote I wrote was from this premise. I feel that whatever little progress I have made in my life with respect to being at peace with myself and experiencing silence to some extent has been a myriad concoction of factors. It is a journey wherein self-awareness and acceptance are the cornerstones. In hindsight, when I look at this journey, I realize that it has not been an easy one and on the flip side, the realizations that have happened to me have been extremely simple. Practicing them initially was hard but with time, life for me became more comfortable and kinder of a state of continuous peace.
It was one of the days when I was just sitting at home doing nothing, and this insight “Grow to help others grow” occurred to me. This then filled me with a sense of purpose and was one of my main anchors in life. Since then I have resolved to share whatever little I know in as many ways as possible. Being a toastmaster honestly, gave me a plethora of opportunities to share and experience the joy of giving. All of us can take this opportunity to help others Grow. The beauty of the Joy of Giving is that it makes us happily put in efforts for self-growth. It doubles our joy. On one side we are enjoying our growth; on the other, we are trying to help others grow. This is one of the greatest lessons in my life.
