Unless we see futility in what we are thinking or doing, we will not change.

We have told a zillion times about change and its impact. I found myself being resistant to change. For many days I did not know the reasons for this. At times, I concurred with the views expressed by people around me and continued to be the way I was. On one side, I did not understand this behavior of mine, and on the other, the impacting logical reasoning purported by my friends was pounding me constantly. This was a clear conflict. During this time, it started to become evident to me about my stagnation, or rather lack of progress. I gradually realized that I was moving in the direction of change, and that transformation materialized. When I looked back on this entire process, which took a few months, I saw that I had eventually come to terms with the pointlessness of my actions and the “no benefit” reality that accompanied them. This made me immediately change. It turned out to be my most powerful motivator to change.
