“Achieving success in our chosen endeavors is a necessity.

During my college and early career days, I struggled to understand the definition of success. Each time, depending on my mental makeup, the definition of success was challenged by multiple powerful parallel or contradictory thoughts, which put me at the crossroads time and again. In addition, reality of life was staring at my face and at times questioning my definition of success as well. This became a big issue in my life.

It was in the late 1990s that I discovered my true passion for my profession—human resources. From there onwards, I spent generous amounts of time learning about the domain of human resources. This learning gave me great satisfaction and fueled my passion more.

To reach that state of being wherein we live a life with the success feeling that is devoid of ego or any such manifestations needs something more fundamental, i.e., a proper internal success definition that aligns itself with who we are.  Every time we visit this definition, it should inspire us. We know that once we have found a compelling definition of success for ourselves, we automatically channelize all our energies, competencies, and focus to achieve the goals that we set out for ourselves. In today’s world, given the complexities of life and work that we need to deal with, being successful and being success-focused is a necessity.
